You can send me an email with your comments, ideas are reviews and I'll post them on the site.

Paul,

Great photos of a great night and luckily the camera didn’t capture later events on the dance floor!

Unfortunately Harry and myself will not be able to train again before our summer holiday which is 6th – 20th August. Family events and the flu have made training difficult in the last few weeks.

See you all later in August.

PS. Pass my congratulations on to Mr. Bottomley for his successful black belt grading!

Cheers

Andrew Smith

This club really offers the personal touch: welcome cards when first enroled and a jujitsu birthday cards each year.My daughter even received a get well card when she had a tonsillectomy! Paul and Elaine really care about their pupils. They gently encourage each pupil building up their confidence.Teaching is excellent; gradings are frequent and only taken when ready. Many additional badges are given out free to encourage pupils every step of the way and there is a 'pupil of the month 'trophy which is given to someone different each time,to acknowledge a particular acheivement, however small. Elaine and Paul also arrange a Christmas party for all their pupils where more badges and trophies are awarded for acheivements over the year.
Having two daughters, I am particularly pleased that they are learning the art of Jujitsu, not only has it built confidence, it has improved their fitness and also offered them many techniques of self defence. This is definitely a club you, or your children, should try. The first 2 hour sampler is free. You then only pay as you attend each session. If you cannot make one week you do not get charged and you can choose to attend any of the other sessions offered that week.So there is great flexibility.
Overall I would say that you couldn't get a better Jujitsu club.Friendly ,caring, encouraging with great teaching.Give it a try!

Rating - Fantastic Club, you are made to feel part of the family 5*

I have been in Martial arts for about 30 years and I have never been made as welcome as when I joined this club.

It doesnt matter what grade or abiliity you are, Everyone is treated the same you will be encouraged to surpass your own expectations.

The whole club motivates you and pushes you to your limit.

Mums and Dads do not need to drop the kids off as they can join in.

The last year has been absolutely fantastic and I would encourage anyone interested to take that first step and get in touch with the Club.

Sensei Paul and Elaine are great instructors, who know how to get the best out of their students.
Give it ago and have a great time

(I've been managing the floods at work and hope to see you soon)
Dave.

Hi Mate,

New website looks mint! My club review for the site....

The AJJA is, quite simply, a superb club.

As a 37 year old Martial Arts novice I joined in January 2006 and have never looked back. Today it's an integral part of our family life with both my children enjoying Ju-Jitsu too.

What is amazing is how quickly you can learn techniques that you wouldn't have believed yourself capable, plus you feel fitter both physically and mentally.

Sensei Paul and Elaine are real enthusiasts as well as terrific instructors and together with all the club's members they do their utmost to make everyone feel welcome regardless of age, experience or gender.

Come and give it a try! The amount of encouragement that you'll get at AJJA is tremendous and there is also great fun factor. No doubt, like me, you'll also make real friends in addition to all the other benefits you'll enjoy from the training.

All I can say is that if you've always wanted to try a Martial Art but have felt intimidated or at a loss where to begin when choosing a club then get in touch with the AJJA. You'll love it!

See you at the dojo...

Dear Paul and Elaine,

I just wanted to say on behalf of Gordon Holly and Emma,                                                                                                                            Thank you for a great evening. They all said I missed a good night and came home raving about it. Gordon said that you had obviously put a lot of thought and effort into making it such a great sucess. Thank you. I'm sorry I couldn't attend but I was in London. I hope you all have a lovely Christmas.

 Best wishes Alison Jones.

Paul and Elaine,

Just a short note to say how much we all enjoyed the Awards Night on Saturday and thank-you for all the hard work which it must have taken to put on such a super evening. Harry’s granddad was so impressed with the skill which the junior students performed all the moves and the speed and accuracy that Holly and Harry did the ‘Bow Kata’. A real credit to the Club!

You may need to introduce longer warm-up exercises to remove the extra pounds that the Buffet on Saturday has added to certain club member’s waist lines! J The food was excellent!

Once again many thanks for such a fantastic night!

Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year.

Dear Paul & Elaine,

Hi Paul and Elaine                        14th September 2008

Attached are the photos from Saturday. We thought it was a super day and we
think that everyone did a brilliant display - one for them to be proud of. Thanks to
both of you too because without your ongoing commitment and  teaching it
wouldn't happen.Bob had a lovely day and really enjoyed it. I hope that it was
worthwhile to go to the Gala and that it drums up some more interest. Thanks
again and see you on Wednesday.

Hi Guys.        Sunday 14th September 2008

A great day was had on Sunday. Just under 100 Competitors Entered, 96 to be exact,
16 Categories were in play, again, ran as smooth as a silk, all Categories ran with
Repechage, started competing at 09.45am and finished at 4.00pm, yet again another
great and successful day. I would like to thank everyone within the U.M.A. for they're
time, dedication and professionalism, we are now considered as one of the Top and
Best Organisations and Associations within the U.K.,, and our reputation for our
Professionalism and our Fantastic Championships Events etc, are getting ever better.
We are getting the well deserved recognition we deserve, and we all need to give
ourselves a great pat on the back, because we showed all the top Guys, Teams and
Organisations in the U.K. that we are a serious and major force to be reckoned
with as a Professional Association and Organisation, and our Championship Events
are a signature that have and will continued to be copied by others.

Dear Paul and Elaine,

I just wanted to say Thank you for providing such

a great Christmas party / Awards night. It was obvious that a lot

of preparation had gone on before the event and it was very much

appreciated.

The food was great and in abundance! I also wanted to say how

kind it was to give out so many awards.

To have all the awards engraved with the pupils name was

wonderful and I'm sure all the children and adults, who received

them, were delighted.

I hope you can now have a wonderful, relaxing Christmas and

I hope your club continues to go from strength to strength.

Best wishes and Happy New Year,

Alison Jones  ( Holly and Emma's mum)

Dear Paul and Elaine

We would all like to thank you very much for the lovely evening

yesterday - all the family really enjoyed it. It was lovely to see everyone

receiving their awards. You obviously worked very hard to make it such

a success and it is a credit to you both. Thank you also for my surprise

award - I am very touched and it has pride of place ( but there is not

much room with all Bob's medals and trophies!!) Thank you for being

such a caring and friendly club and all the best for 2009 - I hope it is

even better than this year. Happy Christmas to you both - have a good

rest and see you next year.

Best wishes.
